Crashing Off The Beat
If you've mastered most of the basic rock beats and fills, the next step is to add a little more life into your playing by learning to displace some of the more common techniques such as crashing on the first beat of a bar. Crashing off the beat can add a whole new dimension to a song and can be an essential tool in your drum lick arsenal.
